Big feelings from Finland – stories for ages 3–6 and their grown-ups.

Uncle comes home from Asia with a suitcase full of presents. Jörö gets excited, happy… and tired. When his friends come to play with the presents, Jörö’s hair stands up like horns. Luckily Ledi knows what to do: let’s breathe together.
In this episode: excited · happy · tired · grumpy · breathing · calm
The YouTube channel opens soon.
Big feelings that change fast. Every child recognises themselves.
Calm and warm. Names the feeling and breathes with Jörö.
Small and a little timid. Practises courage, one small step at a time.
The little buddha. Stays calm even when everything is in a whirl.
Old and wise. “Is it really like that? Could it be different?”
The safe grown-up who brings the adventures – and accepts every feeling.
Grandma. Warm and unhurried: every feeling is welcome – and there is always pulla.
Each story teaches one emotional skill. Here is how to practise it in everyday life:
“You look excited.” “I think that’s grumpy.” A feeling with a name is easier to handle.
Big joy and excitement use up energy. Anyone gets grumpy when tired. Rest recharges.
In for four, a little pause, and a long “phew” out – just like Ledi and Jörö.
Once things feel calm again, sharing and doing things together feels good.
Jörö’s first story as a picture book (in Finnish, English coming soon). Read it together and pause at every feeling.
